OOC: Yeah, Stulgar is a better stealth scout, and he can climb too But no big deal, Weapon is fine.

There, in the shadows! No, wait, just another bug. They're everywhere, like a corpse filled with worms. He shakes his head to clear the mental image of walking around inside a dead beast. To keep his mind off of the difficult passage he walks with his club in hand and crushes any of the scuttling bugs that come near.

The Ruins of Dorasharn Tower

As Weapon, then Kharas, than the others drop down from the tunnel they find themselves in an alcove in a much larger room. Sounds echo out into the darkness which is almost oppressive down here.

(OOC: Weapon checked and it was safe, right? Assuming that--)

*Siobhan nods as Stulgar takes the front again.*

"I have heard that in a natural maze, always going left will eventually reach the goal. Shall we?" she glances to the path on the left.

Weapon keeps his torch high to give light to the surroundings. Seeing nothing immediately, he motions for the others to come. Once the shifter takes point, he follows behind, keeping an eye out for trouble.

Weapon notes that from the edge of the alcove that all seems quiet. Stulgar takes point and leads the group around to the left. Not 20 feet from the alcove a constant background noise rises from the walls and ruins around you. It takes a moment to recognize, but eventually the sounds of chittering and buzzing can be picked out from among the growing cacophany. It's not unlike the sound of insects in the King's Forest, except that the chamber seems to quickly amplify and echo the noise in disturbing ways.

"It sounds like a whole bunch of insects emerging from the northern wall!" Siobhan points it out, "They are just natural creatures in this environment, but that does not mean they wish us no harm...and I fear conventional weapons may not be effective on a swarm of ants or the like. We may wish to regroup to the higher ground and ready some sort of trap for them when they come our way, yes?"

Stulgar stops,pulls out his axe, and holds up his hand, looking around carefully. He points to his ear and then north.

Weapon looks at the two shifters as they seem to react to something. He looks around confused, clutching his torch, not noticing whatever it is that is setting them on edge.
