• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

[Pathfinder] Scotley's Kingmaker IC continued.

The trail is well used and while not exactly a road, it is easy enough to follow. The trail follows the edge of the forest for a time and then finally moves into the uneven hills known as the Kamelands. The Kobolds' trail follows a somewhat meandering path sticking to the sheltered lowlands as much as possible and almost never crossing barren hilltops. The ground becomes increasingly rocky as the shadows lengthen. It seems unlikely that you will find the Kobold lair before darkness falls and the trail is becoming more difficult to follow with many of the valleys between hills now in deep shadow.

Rhote nods in agreement. "We also need to remember that kobolds and many other humanoid creatures can see fine at night, so it would be wise if we were to find a place to stay surrounded by some vegetation for cover." Rhote helps look for a suitable place.

Kyria nods, and looks around. Her city upbringing hadn't really prepared her for this kind of situation, and she made a mental note to fix that. She had to adapt to 'rusticness' or be left behind.

"Not too much shelter around here. We can set up camp under a tree, or on top of a hill...that's visible, but it makes us hard to sneak up on too."

OOC: Something went horribly wrong here. That roll was for one of my other games. My actually roll for Pixie was 1d20+3=7 or something like that. It was 7 or 9. I think maybe I forgot to hit "copy" for the second url before I hit "paste" . Here is correct roll: 1d20+3=7 . Sorry about that. The comment about being a "guide" was supposed to be an explicit reference to how crappy her last couple survival rolls have been.
