[Pathfinder] Scotley's Kingmaker IC continued.

Prince Liam smiles and nods his approval. "A good find! It will be well for us to have solid stone at our backs." He leads his mount inside and finds a place to unsaddle him while the others set about making camp for the evening.

 

[Scotley]

The light produced by 'Pixie' illuminates a 5' wide crack in the stone that opens up into a 20' by 30' cave tall enough for men and horses to walk without fear of a bump on the head. The light sparkles off specks of something shiny in the stone on the back wall of the cave. It appears that small animals sometimes lair here but there is no sign of previous inhabitation by humanoids, at least no evidence of footprints, fires or tool marks.

Pixie gives a single sniff then leads her horse into the cave. Running her hand over the stone at the back of the cave she smiles and says, "Well, we certainly found a pretty cave!" Looking around at the debris she adds, "Though we will probably want to clean this up into a corner or something." She then looks for someway to secure her horse for the night before attending to the preparatory tasks of sleep.

 

[Deuce Traveler]

"Hmph. Shelter, a fire, and no one trying to kill us for some days now. Mayhaps our luck has been improving. One might hope." After securing his equipment, he helps to gather firewood and ignites the material with a small flicker of flame from his fingertips.

One area of the cave has some rocky protrusions that you can easily tie horses to.

OOC: DC20 appraise or knowledge dungeoneering check? Anybody in the cave can try it.

A raven flies from above, enters the cave and lands on Rhote's shoulder as it chirps something in his ear. "Oh really? How interesting. Let's see what you've found, Eyres". He follows the raven's directions as he investigates something in the cave.
