[Pathfinder] Scotley's Kingmaker IC continued.

Liam looks around the cave with surprise and wonder. "Gold here? My own gold mine? Astonishing! This gold could found a kingdom like no other!" He rubs his chin thoughtfully. "Let us pray the kobolds are as reasonable as we hope. If they prove themselves trustworthy we could have a mine here before the season ends." He finishes rubbing down his mount and sets up his own bedroll. "I'll take a watch as well, when the moon is highest in the sky."

The night passes reasonably uneventfully. Your heads are filled with dreams of gold. During Liam's watch the horses do become restless briefly and he's pretty sure he heard some noises outside, but nothing comes of it. All to soon the sky is brightening and your bellies rumble to break their fast. The weather remains good though there are some clouds building to the south and west that could portend rain some time later.

Rhote feels refreshed from the rest. "Our luck has been too good to be true of late. I'm almost feeling chipper, and am ready to head out again if someone could be so good as to point out the trail once more. Shall we continue?"

Pixie takes some prodding before she is willing to stir from bed, but soon after she is up and ready to go. "The most important thing we can do is hide the entrance to this cave," she proclaims, eyes closed with one hand on her hip and another extended out with one finger pointing upward.

Liam yawns and stretches as he sluggishly rouses himself. He slept well enough, the camp reminding him of his hunting trips in his father's kingdom. He bids his companions good morning before leaving the cave to take care of his morning business. When he returns he sets about packing up his packs and saddling his horse. "A bright morning greets us, let us hope these kobolds are not far away. Perhaps we can wrap up the negotiations today and get back to civilization."
