Kyria shrugs. "No idea. I expect if we find the mites still have the idol, probably not."

She looks over at Pixie and says, "The kobolds we found talked about fighting things they called 'mites' that lived under a big tree like that one. Said the mites stole some kind of idol."

Pixie, who does not feel a particular need to wait for anyone's permission, guides her horse up the way towards the sycamore. She circles the giant tree, inspecting the area from astride her mount.

Once she has completed the circle the young woman comes back, looking a bit annoyed. "I don't see nothin'," she remarks. "I tried to tell you kobolds were pests. They're probably just wasting our time."

The old tree looks normal enough if a bit creepy. Pixie notes nothing special about the tree other than the fact that it has lived long enough to grow to a great height.

Brondelleon guides his horse over to the tree, "Surely a tree this ancient will have secrets." He looks intently as he rounds the tree, even entering under the edge of branches.

Rhote stares at the tree for awhile with a large grimace of concern, "If they are living under that tree, I bet those will be some small tunnels. It may be nasty fighting." He waits for his half-brother's assessment.

The Prince sits tall upon his mount and stares upwards at the tall tree before them. He strokes his chin thoughtfully. "How do we get these mite things to come out of their holes? I don't want to crawl down some filthy badger hole after them. We need to drive them to the surface and demand the kobold's idol. The cowardly things will turn it over in a heart beat seeing our overwhelming strength at arms."
