[Pathfinder] Scotley's Kingmaker IC continued.

A raven flies from above, enters the cave and lands on Rhote's shoulder as it chirps something in his ear. "Oh really? How interesting. Let's see what you've found, Eyres". He follows the raven's directions as he investigates something in the cave.

[sblock=Rhote]After a brief consult Rhote and the Raven conclude that the cave wall holds a vein of gold. Indeed, this
cave might be transformed into a gold mine with the proper time and equipment. [/sblock]

Rhote traces a golden vein and a smirk creeps unto his face. "You might want to keep our resident bandit close, my lord. We wouldn't want her to run off and tell anyone else about this vein of gold ore we stumbled upon until we trust her enough to join us in the joint venture of mining it. In other words, if we play our cards right we may have the funding to start your kingdom."

"Gold ore?" Kyria perked up at that and came over to see. She squinted and scraped at the rock with her dagger, then shook her head. "If you say so. Doesn't look too shiny to me. Is there really that much gold here?"

If anyone looks towards Pixie they notice she is stalk still, hands clasped together in front of her chin with eyes with a small but wicked smile on her face and eyes as big as saucers. While normally unpredictable you can be pretty sure that the only word ringing about in her head is, Gooooold.

"Well, that should do well when we can find someone to mine and refine the ore, I guess. Pixie what do you thin . . . . .Pixie??"

While the ventilation isn't ideal, a small fire makes the cave warm and cheery without too much smoke. Thoughts of the wealth in the rock around you no doubt enhance the pleasantness of the otherwise mundane meal.

OOC: Anything else before settling down for the night?

Rhote says, "I shall take first watch these next few nights in order to properly prepare my magic for the next day." He moves closer to the campfire and enjoys the heat of the blaze.
