PHBII obvious error?

i'm going to go out on a limb here and just assume that fiery ki defense and ki blast are both supposed to say that a monk can take them as their bonus feat at 6th level.... not 8th... i didn't see an errata for the PHBII on the wizards site so i figure you guys would know instantly.

Precise shot would be the obvious follow up; you've got a bonus to hit and damage on your ranged touch spells, now you can cast into melee without a huge penalty.

ETA: Or your Eldrich Blast, now that I notice the question is for a warlock.

Point Blask Shot is already in the list. It goes:

H Point Blank Shot
1 Precise Shot
3 Weapon Focus (ranged spell) --> since touch ACs are so low, this would be a waste
6 Point Blank Shot (again!?)
9 Spell Penetration
12 Maximize SLA (eldritch blast)
15 Quicken SLA (eldritch blast)
18 Ability Focus (eldritch blast)

I'd move down Ability Focus (Eldritch Blast) to the 6th level spot and then put Improved Precise Shot in the 18th level spot. Now you can shoot an Eldritch Blast through a key hole!

Ah, that's what I get for trying to answer questions without taking a look in the book. I assumed that the first two feats were Point Blank Shot, and it looks like I assumed wrong.

In that case, I have no idea what the sixth level feat should be, but Particle_Man's suggestion sounds pretty good, although Improved Precise Shot does have a high dex requirement.

Take scribe scroll - combined with your 12th level class ability to craft items without knowing the spell required, you can expand your blasting repetoire to inlcude all sorts of great spells from other classes, as well as all the utility spells you could ever want.

This isn't an error; the "H" is for Human, so if you're a non-human you hold off on Point Blank Shot until 6th level.

There are a few feats to consider, but it's hard to go wrong with an old generic standby like Improved Initiative or Improved Toughness.
