That's really obnoxious, but it's also not the feature working as intended, and the last time it happened Xenforo eventually fixed the issue.

You can, I know it's come up before. I don't know how much Morrus can do to fix it, and he has indicated this issue was a low priority for him the last time it happened, but if memory serves the last time it happened it was a XenForo (the software that runs the forums) issue, and they eventually pushed through a fix.

I have found that US Customs takes a very dim view if it when you have to get out of the car in order to give them your license plate number. No idea why
