I saw him in concert last night. Dude still gives a good show.

I have seen him in concert several times, and he always delivers.

Always.

I still have a fond recollection of seeing him many, many years ago when he was at the nadir of his popularity (well after his Eat It prominence, and just before The Saga Begins prominence ... in a venue that held 1000 people and wasn't full ... and be brought it with an energy exceeding Kevin Hart after two kilos of Columbian marching powder.

Yep. I've seen him.. four, maybe five times? A group of my friends catch him whenever he comes through town. We missed one pass when coivd hadn't lifted enough to feel comfortable sitting in a crowded theater for hours, which was a shame, as that one was at a small theater nearby.

My wife has an autographed pair of Al's boxer shorts (from his usual "One More Minute" number). When a man throws you his shorts, you later hang around the stage door to get them signed.

Al's opening act was on point, too. Puddles Pity Party, for which I had low expectations, really knew who he was playing for. The lyrics to the "Gilligan's Island theme will scan to the tune of Zepplin's "Stairway to Heaven", a fact which I now will never forget.
