Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

The project I was referring to is Dolmenwood. The US shipment for non-book items is stuck in tariff limbo while they work through appealing the costs, so who knows the result or timeframe on that. The last few updates had people wanting to just pay extra to expedite their personal shipment like that is a thing that could be done or even a reasonable thing to ask. I get wanting books and stuff because I hate reading PDFs, but the PDFs have been in our hands for quite awhile so you could run something right now if you are that desperate. They're dealing with something no one could have planned for when the project was launched, so maybe people should just have some patience and let them work through what is already stressful enough without people being ridiculous.
I'm fascinated by the people with the big money for Dolmenwood who somehow also missed many months of news about the tariffs. Clearly they exist, but what well are they living in that they are unaware of what's happening?

Who looked at a mussel and thought "seems edible enough to me"? lol
I always come back to mushrooms. How many people died trying the different varieties of mushrooms and why would they keep on trying to find the edible ones? I guess it's a bit of "We're going to die anyway, might as well risk it." But still.

And once agriculture is discovered, all the selective breeding over generations to get edible plants. Then in some cases all the processing involved to make the result edible. Like maize and nixtamalizaiton. Look at wild corn and compare that to cultivated corn. It's nuts. Then all that goes into making corn digestible.

I was assured that a) the tariffs would be paid for by companies and not affect me personally, and b) that the leopards would eat other people's faces first.
