Yeah I've looked out there a few times, there was a house that looked amazing for the cost. Obviously the price point is a million times better than in BC.

But man....I'm going to pout over this for a bit for sure.

Yeah I've looked out there a few times, there was a house that looked amazing for the cost. Obviously the price point is a million times better than in BC.

But man....I'm going to pout over this for a bit for sure.

Yeah, I had a quick look out there, east of the mountains, and the prices seemed ridiculously high for what you get. Many years back I seriously considered buying a 9 unit apartment building, outside Moncton, as an investment. The first time that I looked at it, it was going for $330K. It sold at $220K. Yeah, 30 years ago. Wish that I'd done it.

I should add that I also saw much larger lots in NB going for the 30K range. Like less than $1K/Acre.

Its actually stupid at this point. I am 99% certain some inanimate object in my house is going to suffer for this, if I dont get to the gym quick.

Essentially I need to get my affairs in order, so next time this happens, I can just pull the trigger or its never ever going to happen. I really cannot believe I've missed out on this again.

Look around at Vancouver Island, costs are a joke.

I have a couple of friends who moved to the island, from the Toronto area. Cheaper there than here, though by how much I don't know.

This is actually the problem post Covid. Folks from Toronto and Vancouver (and international) came here and things went 'oops'.

Either way, yes there are more expensive places, yes there are some cheap places.

This one was hitting a goldilocks zone for me and I'm going to feel it for a day or 2. I'll try and limit my crying.

In college I worked at a pizza place, it was one of those weird funny jobs; the dining area also had a separate bar, with a big chrome 70's triumph chopper hanging from the ceiling.

I will add this was a dive, plastic pitcher of PBR and Saturday brawls so the chopper was fitting
