One of the "old man cards" I play at work is that I remember when lawyers, doctors, and prescription drugs not allowed to advertise on TV.I don't think I was reading that. Old days FDA restricted ads for stuff, we never saw it. My television watching has really fallen off a cliff in the last few years, don't watch it much.
I think it is just that I am getting old, and the world is starting to pass me by. A lot of things. Not that I want to hold anyone back. One of the "old man cards" I play at work is that I remember when lawyers, doctors, and prescription drugs not allowed to advertise on TV.
Like, I get it, it really works, it's probably been the only thing that has actually really helped me keep my blood sugar in check, because that's what it's for.As for unintended consequences, the rise of the GLP-1 medicines have also started to have an impact on restaurants and the way people order food. Lots of smaller plates, shared plates, people ordering less and so forth.
