Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

My cousin has 7 kids. His weekly trips to Costco are shocking. One of their family's vehicles is a hotel shuttle bus.

Thats me growing up!

This was close to our 'family driver' after the old van rusted out. :ROFLMAO:

Took me 10 months to make a damned hat. Started the project, that needed skills I didn't yet possess. Got 75% done. Had to scrap 50% and go back to the drawing board. Agonized over how to proceed next. Got depressed. Got inspired. Got back to work and eventually completed it.

Then I did this, which required absolutely no additional skills, over the course of two free afternoons.

I'm two days into a four-day weekend. (Yesterday was a wraparound military down day for Monday's Labor Day, and civilians were automatically granted a day off if they burned the requisite 8 hours of leave; I chose to do so.) I currently have four farewell caricatures on my plate, and I had two of them already sketched out. I spent Friday inking those two, and I spent a good chunk of today coloring one of them. Tomorrow I tackle the second one, and I'll hopefully then have both of them done when I go back into work on Tuesday. (They're both due by the end of September, but I need to start gathering comments and signatures from the rest of the division on their mattes, and a lot of people prefer seeing what the caricature looks like before they sign.) That leaves Monday for me to sketch in the caricature of an enlisted admin troop, so I can bring it in on Tuesday for approval (or to make any requested changes before I start to ink/color it; it's due on 23 September.) And while I haven't started the fourth one yet (I just got the inputs on Thursday as I was leaving for the day), I did come up with a pretty different concept for his that I need to get approval for from the division before I start sketching it out. (That one will either be a typical "sitting at his desk at work" pose, or else feature the caricature recipient as an action figure, sitting on a corner of his desk with a lot of his mementos in the background and PR blurbs describing the neat features of the action figure.)

But having gotten one done today, I'm giving myself the rest of the night off.

Considering an experiment where I block every user who currently has a thread on the first page of the D&D forum, just to see what shows up and how old the threads on the first page would be.

Edit: Of course that'd mean blocking some of my favorite posters, so I am loathe to do it.

There is a serious uptick in people who just want to hear themselves talk (or whatever the forum equivalent of that is).
I agree. In this essay, I'll delve into the deep psychological underpinnings of, not only the need to hear oneself speak, but also the need to be correct in all ways. This research has been extensively reviewed by my only peer, and been certified 100% accurate and true.

In the next 1,000 pages, I will...

This is all well and good, but it has nothing to do with - totally fails to engage with - what I want to talk about, which the possibilities for low-tech bicycling in various climatological, geographical, and ecological conditions. I can’t wait for you to finish your tedious irrelevancy, so I’ll just start interjecting.
