So have I. The worst pizza I've ever had was from a hole-in-the-wall place in Madrid back in the 90s. It was a plain cheese pizza that was so greasy, it was basically a bread bowl with pizza soup in it.

But did they like it?

2. A story. "I only remember how wild and unexpected it was. It was like that time in Nebraska, when..."

3. Howls of outrage. "That's beside the point! It should never have happened in the first place! Pizza is not meant to be ENJOYED, it is meant to be PRESERVED and WORSHIPED!"

Certain foods are brilliant, like roasted jalapenos, carrots, and onions, just yum. I was looking on the shelf and they had mild jalapenos, I mean ok, though good ones are like eating a bee, tastes like stingy.

I had a pizza like that once...I think I was in Memphis or Atlanta? They brought our margarita pizza to the table and it was so greasy that it was literally sitting in a pool of oil. Seriously, it was so much grease that it filled the metal plate the pizza was served on, and was almost spilling off the sides.

Then before we could say anything, the waiter picked up a cruet of olive oil and poured even more oil over it while we watched in horror.
