Weirdly, in over 40 years of playing and running RPGs with lots of people I've yet to meet a single person who's actually good at both. A lot of people online say they're good at both, but I've never actually seen it in the real world.

I'm not particularly good at either.... Does that count?

It's Twitter. There's a pretty good chance it was just two bots arguing back and forth trying to draw others in for engagement.

I've seen too many of my friends' posts on social media to believe the comforting lie that anyone behaving ridiculously is a bot.

Me: "You rolled a twenty, yes, which means you got the best possible result. So you propositioned the queen in front of her entire court, she assumed you were joking, everyone had a good laugh, and you got to walk away unharmed."

Player: (visibly pouting)

Me: "You taking the queen to bed was never going to be possible outside of a wish spell."
