Apropos of nothing.

When I have given instructions to the entire class (university) and then have to walk around and repeat those exact same instructions to EVERY SINGLE STUDENT individually, even those students who are sitting right next to each other... well, let's just say this is not doing my blood pressure any favors.

This reminds me of when I taught at NYU and I would explain the assignment for next class and ask if there were any questions, there would inevitably be none. Until class was actually over and I needed to run to teach my next class. Then half the class would be lined up to. . . You guessed it, ask questions about the assignment!

No one wanted to look “dumb” by asking the question 6 to 10 other students also had.
