Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Ok. I definitely feel like I am being trolled now, or maybe I accidentally slipped into a parallel universe where words have different meanings.
There seem to be a lot of people, particularly lately, who insist that words don't mean what they're normally understood to mean (and if asked why, they'll make a blithe reference to "context").

I suspect A) at least some people are making descriptivist/prescriptivist noises and B) that's not exactly (or maybe even at all) what's really going on. (What's really going on is more like something out of Carroll, probably.)

Also, perhaps most importantly, IMO, ideas are the easy part. Getting off your butt and making something of them is the hard part.
As someone who creates in a lot of different contexts, THIS.

I have at least a dozen unused campaigns, fully planned recipe concepts I haven’t tried (like frushi ), sketchbooks full of jewelry designs going back 30+ years, clothing designs that go back to the 1980s, half-finished canvases and other paintings, outlines and partial starts on short stories & novels, and a few dozen musical compositions I haven’t tried neither recorded or transcribed to paper as tablature or standard sheet music notation.

Very little of what I’ve created is in a permanent, tangible copyrighted form.
