Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

No, I didnt engage, and was then called out for not knowing the details of the rest of the pizza, because I (and many many others) ignored it because all we were told was that it was pineapple heavy.
It's a defining trait of internet culture that you either love something exactly as much as the person you're talking to or you're the enemy. Love it a little more, you're a fanboy. Love it a little less, you're a hater.

Reminds me of this for some reason…

“He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.”

Most of the '50s creature feature movies would need to have the monster origins retooled now that we know high dose radiation just pretty much kills you, outright, and doesn't mutate you.

I think that's less of a problem (people can always justify one-off cases of things for the sake of a monster movie) than the fact almost all of them are dependent on limited information acquisition, which is much bigger a problem with helicopters, drones, satellites and other data gathering everywhere.

One of the smartest moves in the 2002 Spider-Man was to incorporate genetic engineering into the origin story, instead of radiation. Equally wrong, but at least as misunderstood as radiation was, way back when.

Nanotech is also popular. As I recall the latest version of the MCU Hulk had some involvement of that (or it might have been the one one step back).
