I post in the voice of Christopher Walken
Sounds like the guy at the beginning of Frankenstein Theory
One of my go-to veggie pizzas is simply mushrooms & onions. It would just be cool to try out a veggie pizza,
I was in my dentist’s office earlier this year, and they had paid for a music service that played all originals or major covers- no jazz versions of Cannibal Corpse, for instance. It's that feeling you get when you first notice that the rebellious music you loved as a college student is playing in the elevator.
In Failsafe, the plotline involves averting a nuclear WWIII when a bomber gets screwed-up authorization to deliver its payload.
Serious films, seriously good.
Nippon Tech Ninjas. Yeaaaaaaah.
The first adventure we did: We're breaking into a Nippon Tech warehouse. We hit the second floor and two combat robots jump out of closets at us. My Mystery Man goes diving across the room while completely unloading two .45s into one of them. It rolls to a stop, teeters, and then falls over. Our Ninja casually flicks a shuriken at the other one. It explodes.
The bonus damage was weird. I once one-shot a dragon. With a bow.
The problem with Masterbook's version (add result points instead of the bonus number) is that it makes Agility outright stronger than Toughness. The one in TORG: Eternity works better, I think: +1 bonus die (exploding d6) on a Good success (margin 5+), or +2 dice on an Outstanding success (10+). But that's a bigger overhaul of the whole system. The fix in Masterbook made it a little more reasonable, I think. You could still do that, but it'd be a lot more work.
I would have thought that "Doctor Strangelove" was a parody of "Failsafe", if they hadn't been released in the same year.I like to describe Failsafe as "What if Dr. Strangelove wasn't a comedy?". Very good movie.
That series of 10 and 20 rolls completely made up for my previous seven or eight 1 rolls in a row.The fix in Masterbook made it a little more reasonable, I think. You could still do that, but it'd be a lot more work.
My old neighbor is vegetarian, and he would host Pokemon TCG nights in his apartment once a week. We'd always chip in for pizza and he'd often get interesting combos. I think onions in general are an underrated pizza topping. Feta cheese is also great on pizza. One of my go-to veggie pizzas is simply mushrooms & onions.
Sometimes I add garlic cloves and spinach to that.
Then there’s artichoke hearts or olives (never both).
And as I’ve mentioned elsewhen, I’ve found that thinly sliced eggplant- NOT CUBED- is a pretty good topping because it dries out like a chip and develops a nutty flavor. 99% of the places that offer eggplant on pizza don’t realize this, and only have cubed.
