This week was back in office week and my bike riding buddy told me we had to leave at 630am becasue he had a 730am meeting. What kind of sick mother schedules a meeting at 730am on a week folks have to physically be in the office???

There’s a reason my day starts at 7:30am and I have the first hour of every day blocked off for “reading time”. I work as an IT security engineer, so needing an hour a day to keep up on industry changes is legit, but choosing the first hour is my way of preventing anyone bothering me for non-urgent crap until after 8:30.

The best part of the 730am meeting was 4 out of 6 took it virtual and came into the office afterward.

Tho yeah I don’t schedule anything until 9am so I can prepare for the day ahead.
