Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

it's a short hop from the Fisher King to King Arthur to the fey.
Let's see. The Fisher King had Howard Feuer as its casting director. And Howard Pyle reinvented stories for young redaers about a number of characters, including King Arthur!

And then King Arthur was the subject of Camelot (1967). In 2023, a stage version of Camelot was put on, based on the movie, which had as choreographer Casey Nicholaw. Casey Nicholaw was also the choreographer for the stage and film versions of Mean Girls, which was written and produced by Tina Fey!

Very short hops!

I hold irrational grudges against IP's, Corps, Games, whatever, with the best of them.

But THAT topic I'll never get at this point. Its just too clear cut, yet you persist? Crazy.

Last Call by Tim Powers is an alternate history with some neat ideas about magic and Las Vegas. No fey that I recall, but it's a short hop from the Fisher King to King Arthur to the fey.
That whole trilogy is fun and includes Tarot and, if I recall correctly, a lot of ghosts. (Powers loves his ghost stories, many of which read like roleplaying campaign pitches: "What if there was a black market in the ghostly essences of celebrities that a magical underground traded back and forth?")
