Iirc, with on of the two brand of rum you couldn't even tell there was alcohol in it from the taste to so adding the other too seemed safer.

Never a hangover from those anyway.

I did learn much earlier in life to never have all of rum and coke, peach schnapps and orange juice, beer, and wine coolers. :-/ That was really unpleasant. (It also taught me to moderate my drinking).
