Man do I hate when someone has me blocked but they happen to be the vanguard poster for a subject I care about.

The forum did one of those 'behavior changes' it seems the last few days. I'm still blocked, but seeing the threads he's started when a few days ago I couldnt. 🤷‍♂️

Huh. Thought that was some kind of quirk, but I had just noticed a thread with a thread-starter who I know has me blocked. Sounds like it isn't just me.

And the rock that does exist is almost entirely classic (which covers more ground than it used to, but still nothing current)
There are currently several bands I can think of doing what would otherwise be considered “classic rock”- Rival Sons and Dirty Honey spring to mind. Greta Van Fleet is arguably in that category as well.

Remember when the soundtracks were Tangerine Dream and Oldfield? Thems was the days.
I have soooo many soundtracks & scores, and TD (and the individuals) are behind many of them.

Some soundtracks aren’t just good, IMHO, they’re cultural/musical touchstones in and of themselves.

Some of my faves:

Legend
Miami Vice 1
Heavy Metal 1
Judgement Night
Strange Days
The Crow
1984
Godzilla
Koyaanisqatsi
Risky Business
Less Than Zero
The Song Remains the Same
Blade Runner
Antarctica
Chariots of Fire

Yeah, I think once she gets a little older, she'll broaden out. I remember when Liz Phair -- another generational singer songwriter who broke big in the 1990s instead -- was all about boys and breakups.

"Ironically" <rim shot>, Alanis Morrissette was much better when she was pissed off about guys that when she got all happy and then got all "Save the <insert cause here>"....
