Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

It's been quite a long time since I've put that much distance on, with so little sleep. You owe yourself at least a few hours in a parking lot, somewhere, if not a real night's rest.

Yeah that's the plan, I'll be in my own bed tonight.

I'm now on the Ferry, the foolishness paid off.

Thankfully the last stretch of my trip I can do blindfolded, because this forced rest and my caffeine reserves wearing off is a grim combination. :coffee::sleep:

Going on autopilot has its drawbacks. I once started driving to the race track, on a weekend, and ended up almost at work instead.

A lifetime ago I did something like that. Couldn't remember a single detail going from downtown to south Edmonton. Which while not big in terms of actual global cities, still spooked me after I parked.

This last adventure has reminded me there are levels of tired, and the way the mind and body respond.

I've done the equivalent a couple times.
Twice, for me. The other time was after I'd been working as pit crew for the whole weekend, filling in for two other people as well. I didn't drink much of anything the whole time and was obviously suffering from heat stroke. I drove the 2.5 hours home, not remembering any of it, then ended up in bed for a couple of days doing nothing but taking in liquids and resting.
