I don’t think I’ve ever seen cod on a pizza but can’t imagine it’d be good. Problem with seafood is besides maybe a slight fishy taste it doesn’t really have enough flavor to give to a pizza IMO. Anchovies are big ol umami bombs though!

When I was delivering pizza a lot of older people used to order them (assuming maybe it was popular many years ago, at least in Boston area). I haven’t tasted it so maybe it is better than I am imagining but the ammonia smell used to be awful

I worked at a pizza joint and u could make your own little pizza for lunch.

I used anchovies and acquired a taste for them…haven’t had them in decades but still remember them!
