The other day, I was late to work, and should have received half a point at work for it. However, because I was late because the highway was unexpectedly closed down for reasons outside my control, they let me slide on it.

The reason why the highway was unexpectedly shut down was because one of the workers on the ongoing road construction was struck and killed by a car.

So...

Me not in trouble at work... Good.

Me not in trouble at work because <dead guy>... Bad.

I'm currently a bit confused about how to feel both good and bad about that...

I cannot even imagine. I've been sacked any number of times (including in sparring, no cup, I learned...) and the pain I had post snip for months, was the worst I've lived with.

I'm currently reliving the motorcycle accident I got into where a pizza delivery driver turned across my path and I flew completely over his car, after denting the steel gas tank of my bike with my balls. I was wearing sweat pants and walking funny for a couple of months, after that one.

The Russian judge only gave me 4.5, because of the dismount.

No pineapples were harmed in the making of this story.
