I don't live anywhere near the Asian American enclaves of the San Gabriel Valley or the San Francisco Bay and there are more Thai restaurants than pizza places. It's great but I know probably pretty out of step for most of the US.I live in the middle of nowhere in California and I still have access to pho, bibimbap dolsat, curry, pad thai, sushi, to say nothing of all the wild hippie fusion nonsense that's everywhere in CA that's usually hit or miss but when it hits...
Some of the only good food that I can't get where I live is traditional korean bbq.
