Right, this is why I don't use the ignore list here (notwithstanding two instances, one of which was a cyber-stalker and the other one was someone who made an account specifically to engage in some incredibly odious trolling and hasn't posted since).

A lot of folks don't realize this, but often when I'm arguing a side, I'm not 100% convinced of my position and am looking to see if an argument can overcome it and persuade me otherwise. Most of the time responses are just arguing or telling me that their side is better/the best/awesome/whatever that is unpersuasive since it's just opinion. Every once in a while, though, someone says something, backs it up with their reasoning and/or facts, and I'm like, "Yeah, that makes sense."
