Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Note to self.

Just read, think about, design for, Shadowdark things. The news does nothing but.

1. Annoy, or anger. That is it's intent in 2020+
2. Simultaneously disappoint, yet vindicate you.

Work, Family, Shadowdark.

(Oh, and the Gym.)

Yes, I'm fully aware that you will intentionally distort words and their meanings to support whatever random stand you've decided to take, but that is an absolutely insane mangling of the language...even for you.

Each day is a battle between the part of me that wants to remain an informed person and the part that wants to remain a sane person.

I work as an IT security engineer so that means I need to stay current on technology and so I read tech related news every day. Sometimes I learn cool stuff, like a decade or so ago reading about a Mayo Clinic patient who was blind being able to see his wife for the first time in years thanks to eye implants they were testing. That sort of thing is pretty cool and gives me hope that things can get better for people.

Then there are days like earlier this week where I came upon an article titled "People Are Using AI to Create Influencers With Down Syndrome Who Sell Nudes" where the title somehow manages to get worse with each additional word added to it. Apparently this is largely happening on Instagram so if you need a reminder of why deleting any Meta platform app is a good idea, there you go.

Are you bulking up or just trying to stay fit or is it just a way for you burn energy?

I've gained 10 pounds this year, but I'm in the next month or 2 going to start focusing on my diet to burn off a bit.

Mostly, I'm looking to get in a kind of shape I have not yet been in. My frame is not huge, I'll never get massive, but I've been in 'athletic' shape several times, but never done any kind of body building type focus.

Also, as a place to dump a lot of stress energy that I seem to have been given in Jan/Feb.

Transformers are essentially Warforged druids who can wildshape into vehicles. Or possibly Warforged lycarthropes?

I had a 4E warforged druid who was fluffed as a genius loci that had decided it had had enough of being a war-torn battlefield and grew a tree up through a suit of armor, grabbed some nearby weapons, and set out to share its pain with the folks who'd despoiled it. All of the animals it turned into had a warforged appearance as well.

My other 4E warforged character was a warforged vampire that I named I-Strahd... (Yes, I went there.) :p
