It seems like there's obvious potential here for layout and such, but as @overgeeked said, 'why would you not just use a word editor' and at this point I think I'm not sure what the answer to that would be other than 'yes, you are right'.

Sorry. It's the single least intuitive program I've ever used.

Indeed it is a chore, which is why I noped out, though I had used indesign before too. Affinity is way easier than scribus, and is often on sale, no sub either.

So I was watching a YouTube video that was something like "The scene that changed modern horror" or some clickbaity title, basically they were showing that scene from the first Final Destination:

... where the guy slips in his bathroom and gets strangled by a clothesline

Anyway, I was like thirty seconds into this video, they had just played the scene, and then I hear my wife, who I knew was in the bathroom, she screams and then it sounded like a bunch of things hitting the floor. And... let me tell you, I used to run track in high school, but I have never run faster in my life, then I did in that moment.
