Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I have a good-paying job in a nice city, I am married to a hot spouse who treats me good, I have beer on tap in my kitchen, and I play D&D every Friday night with my friends.

Thirteen-year old Me is high-fiving me so hard right now.

Nope. I bounce up as easily on 4 hours of sleep as I do on 8 or 9. I just get up and go. Now if I am on 4 hours of sleep, I'll start lagging in a few hours since I didn't get enough sleep, but I'm generally not groggy or slow in the morning when I first wake up.

My body needs about 8-9 hours. I usually get roughly 7 (which isn't too bad). On nights where I get 6 or less, I definitely feel it.

I usually try to get 8. My daughter always gets up promptly at 8AM, which isn't a problem when I've had my 8 hours, but can be really problematic when I've only had 3 or 4 by then. 24-year-old me thought nothing of running a freakin' marathon with 3 or 4, but 56-year-old me has trouble remembering where I put my pants with only 3 or 4...

You know the random things my brain does due to the number of odd things i've researched/been interested in some times worries me....It's a good thing i'm lazy and have adhd along with the 'tism

Every once in a while, I'll have some random thought that just comes out of nowhere and scares the hell out of me, and I have to stop and go, "WTF?"...

My brain is twisty and full of spiders.

Synonyms are weird because if you invite someone to your cottage in the forest it sounds nice and cozy, but if I invite you to my cabin in the woods then you're going to die.
There's a huge difference between "forgive me father, for I have sinned" and "sorry daddy, I've been naughty."

Or "having a dad bod" versus "having a father figure."

I'm mostly a 7 hours a night guy and have trouble sleeping more (unless truly exhausted due to unusual exertion or system disrupted by sickness or substances), but lately my body seems to want more.

I went through a period in my 30s when I was subsisting on 4-5 a lot of nights in a high stress job (and on call on a cell phone for emergencies), and I know that took a toll on me.
