Yep. And because it has to go between 2 property management companies (the one the landlord pays to deal with this unit and the one the HOA uses for the building) this tends to take forever to deal with.

My lab at work often leaks during heavy rain. Of course they can’t fix it while it’s raining. So they come back later, after it’s stopped, say “what leak?” and then bugger off until the next time it happens.

Next time that it happens, do what the home inspectors do: Mark the location with painter's tape.

I think they might have tried that at some point but "luckily" the paint was still sagging and we could just point out where the water had broken through. They are actually trying to work on it this time!
