Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

You're all wrong about the cause of the darkest timeline, btw; the real cause was the Chicago Cubs.
Harry Turtledove has argued that we fell into a low-probability timeline when Reagan was shot but didn’t die. Is it likely that a well-established cycle, the deaths of presidents elected in years ending in 0, would just stop like that? No, it isn’t. And nothing has been very likely since then.

I’d have tempted fate and called him “K’vhoon!”

I once had a halfling ranger in the days of 1E... not allowed by the rules, but the DM let me go with it. He was so awesome on paper, that he needed a name that would do him justice. I called him Khorne (a Chaos God in 1E Warhammer... I guess I thought it was a cool name). Guess what the DM called me within seconds of me introducing my character at the table.

FWIW:

1) I deliberately named my 2Ed gnome ranger “The Gnome Ranger”- he rode a giant space hamster named Mithril and his primary weapons were a pair of repeating hand crossbows loaded with silver-tipped bolts.

2) A guy in my group had a gnomish monk with a typically gnomish name. It is forgotten because the DM immediately dubbed him “Scooter”.

Those that watched Cobra Kai might recognize this house as Daniel LaRusso's mansion. I've been driving by it every night for the last week and a half. I saw it on Google maps and got this picture tonight.

For decades California acted as a filming stand in for Georgia. Now Georgia is a stand in for California.

I was DMing a game back in the day. One of my players named his character Bashion. Pronounced Bayshawn. I had an NPC refer to him as Master Bashion. It cracked up the whole table for minutes. He turned bright red and said "I never thought of that."
