Eldritch Knight.
Spell restriction lifted.
can use arcane focus.
you can replace one of your attacks with a cantrip, improved war magic can replace two of those attacks to cast a level 1 or 2 spell

Sorcerer.
innate sourcery is 1st level feature. for a minute spell save dcs increase by 1 and your spell attacks have advantage. Higher level features will play on this. When it's on can use two metamagics. Ultimately you get metamagic that costs no points with this feature.

Sorcerous restoration from level 15 to level 5.

Another version of twin spell. It didn't score well last time. Old version not comming back. Can modify spells like charm person and hold person, it now functions with those spells that can target additional targets if it already does so at a higher level. Not all single target spells.

More 2024 spells will have higher level options, including increasing number of targets.

Draconic Sorcery is back, wings on all the time. Draconic presense is a bonus action and no concentration.

Wild magic! Make it more reliable to interact with the wild magic table. You can roll on the surge table whenever you cast a spell of level 1 or higher, just do it. But once you do you must long rest. There are built in ways to get it back, like tides of chaos.

Luck is a d6.

Wild bombardment interacts with the wild magic table even more, it's the name of spell bombardment.

Using the 2014 table.

warlock.
Pact magic is back.
Still have the goal to let the warlock cast their spells more often.
New feature at level 2 called magical cunning. A warlock can perform a 1 minute ritual to get back a spell slot! Once per day at low level. ( Hey! I've been doing that in Mork Borg!!! Cool!)

magical cunning is a low version level of eldritch master, edltrich master now builds on magical cunning.
Somethign similar will happen in the monk, some kind of thing to bring back a resource.

Hey, Celestial Warlock! Called it.

Didn't see Aberrant or Clockword Sorcerers, but that certainly expands the sorts of things PHB options have on offer.

counter spell
it's mindfull of your target.

To close to dispel magic.

It isn't dispelling a spell, but interrupt a creature casting a spell, so it now affects the target.

So the spellcaster is the target, and it is a saving throw the target makes.... which means higher cr monsters will be harder to counter.

Counter spell no longer waists the spell slot.
