I would love to see a cool rendention of the Headband of Intellect.

Nothing lame like + to knowledge skills. It would need to have a truely interesting ability that made the character stand out somehow. Some sort of memory or intellect based ability.

What is this "powerful build" ability, not heard of it.
It's a racial trait that Goliaths (Races of Stone) and Half-Giants (XPH) have. At any rate, both races are Medium sized, but Powerful Build allows them to wield Large weapons with no penalty (although they don't gain reach), and they are treated as large for the purposes of Grappling, Tripping, etc. Basically, they get all of the bonuses of being Large except reach, and none of the drawbacks.

Edit: Corrected. Thanks, Zamkaizer.

I've got it.

It grants the power to cut guns in half with your mind.

Ah, that makes sense. Races of Stone is one of the books I haven't really looked at (I don't really do too many new races, since I don't play that much, mostly DM, and my players tend to stick with the "core" races).

That would be pretty cool.

Interesting that the Bo9S was done when they decided to change it to a per encounter style. I wonder what the original was like.

I'm surprised more people haven't been discussing this. It really shocked me. I wonder if they were daily, or if they were at will but imposed a penalty on attacks (much like Book of Iron Might), or if they became incrementally more difficult to use (much like the truenamer) or if they had a delay in rounds until you could use them again (much like some of the binder's powers).

It's a creature trait. Most notably in Goliaths. They can use large weapons without penalty and count as 'large' creatures anytime it would be advantageous to be so.
