Then you have a much better target. Killing the mount from under a combatant is a very effective and valid tactic when folk can afford 1000's of GP for footwear. A mount is the most common way to multiply damage. You take it down or you die.

I believe the point was to force the poll to be worthless, since he recognized the need for a third option and consciously chose to ignore it. Not sure why someone would do that, but it takes all kinds to make an internet.

Too cheap: Mainly because unlike Expeditious retreat & haste, it sounds like this can make someone in Fullplate get 50’ rather than 40'..

As an aside, Expeditious Retreat can give somebody in heavy armor 50' movement. Expeditious Retreat does not have the restriction that Haste does.

This spell increases your base land speed by 30 feet. (This adjustment is treated as an enhancement bonus.) There is no effect on other modes of movement, such as burrow, climb, fly, or swim. As with any effect that increases your speed, this spell affects your jumping distance (see the Jump skill).

Sandals of Sprinting - 3xday swift action to gain +30 enhancement bonus to land speed (max double your speed) until start of your next turn. 2,300 gp.

I am sorry to not give an option saying just right. I know that it is a valid choice but I would prefer people to go to one side or another. If you feel this is not fair and your answer would be just right feel free to not vote on the poll.

Any reasoning one way or the other would be appreciated.

I voted too cheap as you left no option to think that they were properly priced. Since boot of striding and springing adds 10 ft to your movement and is active all the time, the sandles are properly priced IMO.

To me they are about right. Cheap enough a low elvel character can think of buying and using htem, but not really good enough for a high level character to really want in a precious slot.
