I'm 100% on board for endless sandwiches. I don't know why, but I never minded tracking arrows. And I like in 5e it says (somewhere, I think) that after a battle you can recover 50% of shots fired. That sort of stuff appeals to the nit picker in me. But yeah, most everyone I know IRL would disagree with meShouldn't even be a magic item, just a standard assumption.
Also an endless sandwich.
No option for "Yes, but they will have infinite weight as well, so they will create black holes that destroy the planets they are on, and threaten the multi-verse itself?"
The fact that I've had to houserules endless quivers as simple magic items in, I think, every edition I've ran is WILD to me. So, what do we think? Hank's Energy Bow is in, but is there a basic quiver of endless arrows?
Also, what are your favorite magic items?
Yes, but I think it's pretty clear they meant infinite mass.I think, technically speaking, nothing can have infinite weight because weight depends on the force of gravity on the object and at some point it becomes the centre of the force of gravity and then weighs nothing.
Hey, that's me!Be careful! It's only a matter of time before the resource management crowd comes in and proclaim that counting and keeping track of arrows is vital to the feeling of D&D!
