Power attack with a bow?

I think i ve seen it but dont remember where..

A feat that let you make power attack with a bow or something. Can you tell me what is the name of the feat if it does exist? (i hope it didnt came out of my mind)

Also are there any feats that give bonus on attack rolls/dmg/AC if both allies have it and stand closely each other?

None for bows that I know of, but there is a feat that allows you to PA with a thrown weapon. It's called Power Throw, and has Prereqs of Power attack, and Brutal Throw (which allows you to use your str instead of dex for attacking with throwing weapons.

As for your other question, the only feat I can think of off the top of my head is Phalanx Fighting. If you're wielding a hvy shield and light weapon you gain a +1 shield bonus, and if you're within 5' of an ally that has the same feat and is also armed with a hvy shield and a light weapon you can form a shield wall that provides +2 shield bonus and +1 reflex save to everyone eligible (has the feat & weapon/shield combo).

There's a bow stated up on the WOTC site that allows power attack. I think it was the energy bow from the DnD kids series.

I think your right S-Club. It is Hank the Ranger's Bow. That was a pretty nasty weapon, considering it was a force effect I think and didn't require reloading.

One of the archer PrCs allows power attack with a bow. Maybe Peerless Archer?

Peerless Archer gets a Power Shot ability at about level 3, from memory. It's in the 3E FR sourcebook Silver Marches.

Yes and no. For example, one of Power Attack's great virtues is when there's a creature with DR at the limit of your damage dealing capacity - if you deal 1d8+3, and it's got DR10/-, you're only going to hurt it on a crit or a maxed damage roll. Power Attack might reduce your odds of hitting, but it can ensure that any hit actually hurts the thing.

Manyshot, on the other hand, doesn't help much, since each arrow is considered a separate damage source.

Dealing with DR can be a pain for an archer, and Power Shot is a real help.

IMX DR isn't a problem for a well prepared archer with some buddy who can cast Align Weapon... I'd even say, the archer has an easier time to carry lots of different arrows along than melee buddies.

Align weapon does not help against, say, Undead, or Plants. And even though you *may* have arrows made of cold iron, silver, or adamantine, how often do you *really* have some?
