Preferred d20 Superhero system?

Im sure this doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway: That would be so cool if you could get that done!

If you guys did get that license, would this result in a print edition of 4CTF/d20 Supers?

If so, would you guys would fix the listed errata? Would you mix in the BBoSP, so it and 4CTF/d20 Supers are one large superhero supplement?

I'd really like to see 4CTF/d20 Supers become the official superhero supplement to d20 Modern, but, personally, I feel doubtful it'd happen. This isn't pessimism on my part, its just that WotC seems unlikely to do this, as it may set a precedent for some sort of open-door policy on third-party "official" supplements to various products put out by them, and I just see them wanting to avoid that altogether.

Just my two cents.

Right so how is remapping skills from one name to another not renaming skills? Renaming skills means jack b/c anyone w/any modicum of intellect will see them.

The renaming mentioned (debate->diplomacy) are from the chaosium system to the d20 system, he was converting the mask of nyarlatotep (or something more unpronounceable) campaign.

So WotC did not rename the d20 skills from D&D.

Wilderness Lore becomes Survival, Animal Empathy becomes Handle Animal, Pick Pocket to Sleight of Hand, Heal to Treat Injury

Handle Animal already exist in D&D and is different from Animal Empathy.

The hit-point system in Star Wars different than in D&D, thus the change of Heal in Treat Injury.

That leave only two renaming, perhaps the sleight of hand was made due to Lucas not wanting heroes with pickpocket skills, and survival because there is no track feat in Star Wars?

Back on Topic: My favorite is FCTF, because it's the only one that I have :D

But I'm curious on SAS and M&M:

mainly the skill incompatibility of SAS (is it hard to figure the opposed skill when a standard d20 monster listen to stealthy super?).

and the stats incompatibility of M&M is it hard to use a dragon with strength 40?

Not at the time of 1st Ed Star Wars. Remember this came out pretty fast and the feat was not yet available officially.

Why change to Survival due to a lack of a tracking feat? Doesn't really make sense in my book. Pick Pockets to Sleight is a reasonable change and I can see the Heal to Treat injury. I was merely pointing out that yes skill names were indeed changed and in the first major other project WotC did for d20 even. Just showing that there is a precedent for skill name changes and everyone should get off SAS's back about it.

Then, we have different book, as far as I'm concerned, Animal Empathy and Handle Animal are two available skills in D&D (animal empathy is diplomacy with animals), and Star Wars Handle Animal is the same as D&D handle Animal.

I do not see any change there.

Perhaps there is a reason why people are upset about SAS change, that's why I ask if, alongside name change, there has been rule change in skills (move silently+hide->stealth?).

yeah this again

Wish I knew. Fire off an email to the boys doing SAS and ask?
