Proper Evil Laughter

Sir Hawkeye

First Post
"Now, say you have just created life. The laughter should begin here, around the diaphragm."
-Evil Laughter 101, Gary Larsen, The Far Side

I've seen so many variations:
Fwahahahaha! showed up in the Pokemon games.
Bwahahahaha!
The more standard variations:
Mwahahahaha!
Mu-hahahahaha!

Personally, I feel that this best captures the classical evil laughter:
Mwu-Hoo-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!

I say we need to standardize this, in the interest of evil masterminds everywhere! What do you think?

A disturbing villain giggles like a little girl or doesn't laugh at all. Cenobites know how to laugh, or at least chitter.

Laughing like "MUAH-HA-HA-HA" only makes them sound like a hax0r kiddie.

This is not any more of a waste of our mental capacity then the rest of the junk we discuss here.

I vote for "Mwa-ha-haa-ha, Dude!"

I think it is the "dude" that will seperate us from the amateurs

The Best Evil Laugh Ever IMO Vincent Price's laugh at the end of the "Thriller" monologue (I often listen to the whole song, tolerating several minutes of Michael Jackson, just to hear that laugh... and of course I curse if it turns out the radio station is playing the "short version" and leaves out the monologue). The problem with putting it down in print, though, is that it's really little more than the usual collection of "Hah ha ha ha ha ha hah!"

The Classic Evil Laugh tends to have a "Bw" or "Br" sound at the beginning, yielding something like:

Broo-ha-ha-ha-ha-hah!

It is important to stress the first syllable greatly... that is an important element of all Evil Laughs. In fact, I would say the various Evil Laughs vary only by the exact nature of that first sound. The "ha-ha-ha-ha-hah!" at the end seems pretty standard, except for the few that mutate a couple of the ha's into hoo's.

Hire me, and I won't have time for this nonsense!

Your villains actually laugh?

Mine just start throwing meteor swarms and Thrall at the first sight of PCs. Often with tactical timing, surprise, liberal use of expert-tactian feat, and haste abilities. Combine that with some quickened chain lighning, and there is no time for laughing. Only verbal components.

Maybe that should be a verbal component from now on. An overpowering laugh.

I did really freak some preople out once with:

TeeheeheeheeheeHOO-HaHaHaHaHaHaHa!

What? stop staring at me! Doesn't everyone use evil laughter in public?:D
