The rule for Inspire courage states that the effect lasts for as long as an ally hears the bard sing, and for 5 rounds after.

Say a bard is singing and one of her allies gets caught in a silence spell for 10 rounds. Once the silence spell ends and he can once again hear the bard sing, does he get the bonuses from inspire courage again?

Is the bard still singing? Then yes because the bard is still singing.

If no the time is from when the bard stops singing not from when the ally stops hearing.
