Question: Opportunity actions vs Immediate actions

So up til now I've been treating Opportunity actions and Immediate actions as the same thing, ie you can take one of either on each other combatant's turn.

But on re-read it seems to me that they're actually different things and they both get their own 'counter', so to speak; you can take one Opportunity action and one Immediate action on each other combatant's turn. Is this right?

For example, a Kobold Dragonshield could make an Opportunity attack and also use its DS Tactics ability (immediate reaction) on the same turn.

I think this interpretation is correct, but the slight doubt that it leaves me is that I'm not aware of any Opportunity actions other than Opportunity attacks! Are there any? Or am I just wrong here?

My understanding is that you get one OA per opponents turn, but that you only get one immediate action (either a reaction or an interrupt) per round--ie. only one total between the end of your turn and the beginning of your next turn.

You could use both an OA and a immediate action on one opponents turn if you wanted/were able.
