Races of Evernor

Has anyone else looked this over? Very interesting book. The bits on using it in Evernor are minimum and hey, eve nthe editing mistakes are at a minimum! I'll probably be adding several of the variant races to my game soon.

BTW, those who've been asking about half-dwarves, they're in there. The Tallbeards. Cool.

Fixed!

As tempting as it is to shout "Adkison," I'll just point out that it's "Evernor."

For people who haven't heard about it, they've put up a couple of free races that aren't included in the book at the link below. There'll be two more each for volumes II and III.

It's a nice product. I had a few problems with it, but it was easily worth the money. I'm hoping to use maybe half of the races in the book and at least one of the free downloads. For a different campaign, a few others might show up as well. The two forthcoming volumes and their book of templates are on a fairly short list of things to buy.

I particularly like the Baelstrith (underground fey with hands for feet), the Glimjara (non-humorous Ferengi-like goblinoids), and the Kroy (three-eyed self-righteous pains in the butt). The Cabaran (elves who've lost most of their elvish qualities from harsh existence) and the Celedhriel (humanoid beings of light trapped on the material plane) were nice as well. That they patterned their cat people on domestic varieties rather than making them fierce, proud warriors based on big cats was a huge relief.

Hopefully I'll get a review written up and posted soon. Gamewyrd has a positive one up on the reviews page.
