Radiant One ED - un-errataed?

You might be thinking of the Student of Caiphon paragon path, which was errata-ed to be more restricted to warlock abilities rather than being a goto for anyone who did radiant damage.

No, it's definitely Radiant one that I'm thinking of. When it first came out, in Dragon, it said "21st level." Later on, as my own character approached Epic, I was looking for an appropriate ED for my Fey/Darklock, who I had styled as becoming a Prince of the Summer Court. Originally I looked at Prince of Hell, asking if I could reflavour it for a Fey by making the summoned demon minions into some sort of Fey creature. The DM said no. Then I looked at Radiant One, which fit my character concept while simultaneously improving my damage to the point where I would be close to the other party Strikers, but he said no to that too. When I looked it up at the time, it had been the subject of errata to make it a Warlock only ED. Now, everywhere I look, it's back to just "21st level."

Sorry, I just looked back at all the update PDFs I have since Nov 2009, and although it's possible I'm missing one, none of them have the errata you describe. As far as I can tell, Radiant One has always been open to all classes.

It's always possible that I'm wrong, but those were the only two EDs that I had been considering. Also dumb to make something that is obviously flavoured for the Warlock, and specifically the Starlock at that, open to anyone.

I think you're overlooking the fact that 4E is designed to have mutable flavor. For example, with a little refluffing, The Radiant One's mechanics work excellently for an elementalist character being imbued with the essence of the eternal Phoenix, which concept would be better represented by a Sorcerer or Wizard than a Warlock. I can also see a telekinetic psion working these mechanics with yet a different refluffing. That's just off the top of my head; I'm sure there are numerous other concepts that can work.

Nope, not forgetting it at all. As I stated, I was planning on using it for my prince of the Summer Court character theme. I do think, however, that there should be some limitation on it. Maybe Warlock only. Maybe Arcane only. Something. Many themes, that are less obviously tied to some sort of power assumption, are limited by specifics.
