D&D 5E Recent Errata clarifications

With no alignment in our character description how can we know?

I mean, have you looked at your helmets recently? Yeah, you know, the emblems on your helmets, have you looked at them? They've got skulls on them. Have you noticed that your helmets have got little emblems of skulls on them?

Why skulls? I just can't think of anything good about a skull. These are the kinds of problems you get when ask Hugo Boss to design your adventuring outfits ... they might look fashionable, but they make some questionable choices.

The important thing everyone is missing is that the terrible game design of Legendary Resistance has been doubled down on.

There is no way around it. There will never be a way around it. Bosses just straight cheat like the AI in a bad game.

Just a reminder that as a DM you don't have to spend a LR on every failed save. So if the party throws a dud spell, or something you think the monster can survive suffering through you can choose to fail and save the LR for the big guns. That makes the players start thinking about how they will deplete the LRs and which resources are valuable enough to make you spend them...

I know that, which is why I said decoy instead of dud. It's a metagame of trying to trick the DM when both of you know any good effects you use will get no-selled. I don't like 'challenging' player skill vs DM skill in a game about the characters and the world.
