Recruiting ended.

I'm looking for one goblin or two goblins to join my "Yar Gock" campaign that I run on this boards.
Please check out my signature to see links for the campaign's Ic/RG/OOC threads.
To those who want to join this mini "evil" goblinoid campaign. please post a concept according to this guide lines:

[sblock=Game's houserulles]
Classes should be as follow: (The names I wrote are only for Tribal Metaphore)
Bandit and Skirmisher (following the Rogue Class)
Bard
Elite Warriors or Slavers (following the Fighter class)
Barbarians
Hunters or Wolf Riders (Rangers)
Shaman (Sorcerer)
Witch Doctor (Druid or Priest) N/A. spots are taken.
No Wizard and no Paladins.

Level: 2nd
Starting Equipment: 500 gp. (Well, goblins are poor, the leader owns most of the treasure, I suggest spending it all, because, if any gold coins are left, they will be transferred to the leader)
Alignment: Any Evil
Ability Generation: 28 point buy.
Hit Points: Max HP at 1st level, leveling up, take 3/4 of the maximum possible roll for your hit points. For classes using a d6 or d10, round down, but make it up at the next level.
Source Material: Core + Complete Series, subject to approval by me.
Setting: I'll pick up a remote place in Greyhawk world, haven't decided yet.
Speed: I am looking for a moderate paced game, three posts per week is sufficient for this game, I'm DMing two more games over here.
[/sblock]

More information about the clan can be found HERE, this is important information so read carefully

I've been following the campaing scarcely and would definetly like in. Do you want the classes to be only from core or is scout from complete ? okay? (Darn, can't remember which book it was, but one of the completes nonetheless)

I'm interested, I've read through some of the campaign before and thought it was really interesting. Anyways, I'd like to try either the bandit or wolf rider. I'll try to roll something today.

P.S. Blackrat I think it's from Complete Adventurer (I could be wrong though)

Yeah, that's it. Thanks ;)

recruiting - Yar Gock

Hey Blackrat, renau1g. Just dropped in to say hi! So far, the band consists of Ur'nagi, female goblin wolf rider and self appointed leader, Mek, male bugbear warrior, and Nerrek, goblin wolf riding witch doctor. We could probably do with a character with some sneak/search skills. Or at least, someone with the reflexes to avoid dying when we send them forwards to find the traps. Whoops. Did I say that out loud?

Anyways, both concepts sound good from this end. Luckily I'm not the one who has to choose in the end :)

aka thotd

Yeah, I'm thinking either Ranger1/Rogue1 or Scout2. Both would perhaps be pretty much sneaky trapfinder. I need to read the scout-class again and ofcourse wait for Strahd's decision on allowing it before doing stats.

Well they don't have an arcane caster either so I could go with sorceror or even warlock if Strahd approves. That way you could take the sneaky ;).

Strahd, looking at the tribe it seems there is a crazy female shaman but I didn't notice you to have described her any more than that. So if you don't have anything special in her case I could take up playing her?

Appearance: Short of stature, Tazarx (or Taz as he's known) has a long scar running vertically starting above his right eye continuing down to his jaw from where a rival tried to scratch out his eye with a dagger. His red eyes are beady and deeply sunken in his head. Taz has shaved his head to keep any of his rivals from being able to use a dirty trick in a fight against him. He wears a fine chain shirt he took off a gnomish ranger he managed to ambush, covering it with mud and blood to hide its value. His greyish-green skin is stretched tight against his small muscular frame and give his face a skeletal appearance.

Personality: Taz is ruthless in his efforts to extract revenge on those who pick on him. He's always keeping his fingers on the pulse of the tribe and with his above average intellect and charisma can usually detect when rivals are plotting against him. He favours striking from a distance where he can remain safe and his quickness benefits him the most. Taz always wanted to become one of the wolf riders, but never managed to make it in, having some bitterness towards those whom he's jealous of. Taz has no delusions of grandeur, he doesn't think he'd ever be able to knock Mogur off as tribal leader and only hopes to avoid being beaten or tormented.

Background:Taz did his best to avoid detection from an early age, as his small stature (even amongst goblins) earned him the abuse of most of the other goblins. Being noticed usually only meant being picked on so he stayed out of sight. Eventually he got so good at he Taz was able to sneak around and avoid menial work as well as others aggressions. He spent his free time practicing his lock-picking skills with an old lock he found. He couldn't escape notice forever and decided that he'd rather be on of the ones in charge (marginally) so he decided to become one of the tribes elite guards. After his training was completed, Taz was given a sword from a captured human warrior which was nearly as tall as him and heavy crossbow. He had never learned any useful skills as the others in the tribe had, Taz had always just stolen what he needed to survive.

And, Mek the Bugbear Ranger IS the leader of the little group. :)
And don't let doghead have you thinking other wise. :p

As has already been said - someone that can take care of traps would rock as well as an arcane caster.

More minions! I Love it. :uhoh:
