I'll post a scan of the vow of poverty section up myself, so you can see the bonuses it gives. I'll add good to my alignment right away - and also, I will be dedicated to a particular divinity - Emmantiensien, the treant god. He has dominion over treants, trees, and deep/hidden magic. Seems perfect for a gardener druid, especially one with a tree focus and an association with treants. I'll make the appropriate story/background adjustments to fit into the campaign later this evening.

I ahve just 1 problem i had to choose a second shifter feat to get Rooth ready to get a second trait at lvl 3. I choosed shifter defense [Shifter defense [DR2\silver while shifting] this is not included in AC lvl 1] but what does that dr2 mean? havent used this before. maybe the feat suck ;)

any suggestions?

Is Emmantiensien from a specific source or something you made up?
 

Hellrazor, some notes from looking it over

AC should be 18 (+3 armor, +5 dex) touch 15, ff 13

(with a dex of 18 and base reflex save of +3 (house rule adds this to dex bonus) you have +7 dex, capped by max dex bonus of +5 for studded leather)

Reflex save should be increased to +7, (+4 dex, +3 from 2nd level good reflex save from 2 humanoid HD).

Low light vision, not darkvision.

Skill ranks should add to 10 total with a max rank of 5 and you must save one for dover language. You have used 11 and say you have one reserved.

If you could add some background to get Syfer to the point where you would work as an agent for druids in the woods that would be great.

Description:
Syfer is a typical Chiao, stripes and all, he stands a little less than 6ft and is weighs 183lb. He has one visible scar running from above his left eye to his left cheek, given to him by a drunk human. He is quick to anger but shows much self control.

History:
Syfer had a normal childhood for his kind, learning the fighting tactics of his people. Shortly after becoming an adult, feeling restricted by others of his Clan, Syfer ran off to adventure the world. Taking only his tiger claws and a few of his possessions, he traveled to the closest city, in the hope of finding work. When he arrived in the city, he wandered the it looking for a place to rest. While walking, he was attacked by a drunken man, who slashed his face with a knife. In rage, Syfer killed the man and fled the city. He ran through the forest until he was forced to stop, tired from the running. Finding a safe place to sleep, Syfer passed out.

Shifters are LA +0 correct? That would be a 48 point buy with +2 dex, -2 int, -2 Cha, looks like you did a 40 point buy. Please break out your point buy points spent so I can check the math easier, thanks. I think you either get 8 more point buy points, a free +1 LA template, or gestalt with an npc class.

There is a house rule for alignment, good is reserved for paladins, clerics with the good domain, exalted characters, and creatures with the Good descriptor. Most everyone is neutral.

Ranger class has been house ruled up to d10 HD.

Female with a beard? Just verifying.

House rule that natural armor and armor do not stack but overlap.

House rule that base reflex save from class is a bonus to dex AC bonus. Note that armor max dex bonus still applies.

House rule that elven is a dialect of sylvan, not a separate language.

House rule that you must save 1 skill point or bonus language to learn dover.

DR 2/silver means that when shifted you reduce the damage done by weapons by 2 points unless they are silver weapons. It does not affect your AC. It is not a bad feat choice.

Not sure why you put down the endurance (level 3) and spellcasting (level 4) abilities.

2nd level character so 900 gp limit, I'm fine with you starting with less if you want though. Is the composite longbow going to have any strength adjustments? Any of the weapons masterwork?

Yes Shifter is a La+0, and yes that was a 40 point buy now adjusted to 48.

Drowned, studded leather has a max dex bonus of +5.

The reflex bonus to dex AC bonus is only from the class part of the reflex save bonus. Lightning reflexes, resistance bonuses, and dexterity bonuses to reflex saves do not count for this.

So you have dex 16 =+3 dex bonus + reflex base save +3 = +6 dex bonus total, with studded leather capping that at +5.

Hit points 10 (d10 ranger max) +6 (d10 halved round up) +6 (+3 con x2) =22
