Why are you asking US about simple PHB rules?
Do you know 3E rules?

Seriously, just as a means of introducing yourself to the players that you may be spending the next 6 months+ gaming with, and since you don't have that many posts or experience in the In Character Forum, I think it would be good for you to state your qualifications and a bit of background on the way you game.

Unless you show a bit more attention to detail, etc, I predict an early death for this game.

It is very difficult, holding a PbP adventure together, as the myriad aborted games on these boards alone will attest to.
You have to go in with a very focused team of people all on the same page (or at least in the same chapter).

Just my 2 cents, from a guy who's seen too many adventures die, and I'd like to see yours succeed.
