I'm not entirely sure what is being requested here. From a psychological standpoint, even if a population ceases to venerate their previous head deity, they are likely to have a morality shaped by (in the case of drow and elves) centuries of history and tradition relating to that worship. Meaning that it's going to be a VERY long and hard road before very many of them can be "redeemed". The remnants are still likely to endorse slavery, assassinating rivals, and a "do unto others before they can do unto you" morality. As a magical culture, merely creating food is unlikely to impress very many. Larger and more significant displays of power might be more effective though. Maybe a handful of the young and the "have-nots" in their society here and there will be receptive; particularly those who can be convinced that they've suffered specifically because of the formerly prevailing ideology.
On the surface world, the drow penchant for slavery and raiding is likely to cause deep skepticism and distrust; and possibly unprovoked violence against them from surface civilizations. This most probably contributes to the drow population remaining pretty insular and trying to seek isolated areas to seek refuge in; at least if they don't believe that they have the power to safely subjugate someone else.
