Think of the new feat types in RR2 (Miracle, Scion, Virtue) as previews for the Player's Guide series.

Expect plenty of Miracle feats in PG:ClrDrd, believe me. ;)

Thank you for that back up Joseph. It's much appreciated. :) Btw, maybe you could also mention any MONK feats that might show up? ;)

We've mentioned organizations of warriors and tribes of barbarians, but never really touched on those characters and their impact on the setting. Hence, Fighters and Barbarians being next.

Not to mention the fact there's no other fighter/barbarian Pr-class other than Horsemen of Vangal. :)

Very true. And it's pretty lame for Vangal's followers anyway, IMO.
Anyway, prestige classes in most books mainly favor arcane and divane casters.

I've yet to find better fighter-class, than basic fighter is.
I think this is because basic fighter is so versitale on its own.

I think doing fighter/barbarian book first is a great idea. Casters have already had so much highlight, I feel it's time for no-magic-using heroes now.

Well, as long as books are as well written than SL books have been this far, I end up buying them.

Still, currently I am more interesting about other continents. Which of them are supposingly getting their gazetters, and how many years it's going to take? :D

I know Termana is coming soon, but what Asherak, Fenrilik, or the elusive Dragon Lands, I've only seen mentioned in RR2?

finally I join the "haves" in a world where the boundry between those priviledged few are seperated from those without R&R2.

i can't let myself read it though. I need to finish my plot summary or and next games prep or else I'll never get that done.
(I'm cautiously expecting a flood of new ideas. This will prevent me from getting the other stuff nailed down).

Nevertheless I expect to be less un-informed going foward.

One could suggest [link=http://www.badaxegames.com]Badaxe's Heroes of High Favor books[/link]. There are two in there--battleragers and horde chieftains.

Right but I prefer to maintain flavor Dink. Thanks for the offer anyway.

Welcome to the world of the Priviliged Grraf. :) And yes you'll be less uninformed..until Calastia and Termana Gaz beat a path to my doorstep. ;)

Not THAT lame. I mean you take that 5 levels of barbarian and 5 of cleric PLUS Sacrement of the Reaver, and you got a pretty bad ass little barbarian/cleric going down on you from horseback. :)

I'll agree there. I was happy to see that coming first though I was hoping Paladins wouldn't BE last. Still I'll live. Even so I imagine that the Pr-classes in the Fighter/Barbarian book WILL be something to enjoy. I will say even with versitility, the Fighter would be HARD pressed to match the dedication and slightly undead nature of say the Unfailing. Now THERE'S a great Fighter Pr-class.

Oh I have feeling they will be. :) I mean you got more than just three guys working on it, you have Joseph along with some fresh new talent AND good ole PC doing the Sorcerers, Wizards, and Bards hand book. So perhaps that means we might see Ranger Wickett/Ryan Nock, work on one too! :) No, that's not like a rumor folks, just a Sage's hope.

I imagine well get to Asherak BEFORE the end of 2003. That being said, we might just get Gaz that don't do as much detail as the SLCS: Ghelspad or the possible HC for Termana and Asherak. But I'm sure we'll learn more about both Termana and Asherak before the end of 2003.

Well I got to glance through the book for the three minutes I had to spare in the store this weekend. It was pretty cool to see my continual heat spell in print, although they cut out the container with hollowfaustian obsidian necromancy, transmutation, fire and earth runes I remember requiring to get the rock to heat a 20x20x20 foot area. Still my background text is how I remember it.

Can't wait for the author copy to get here and read the rest of the book.:)
